Problem - Design a promotional piece that encompasses all of the Sherlock Holmes lineage.
Solution - Sherlock Holmes has captured the imagination for generations. This cocktail kit features various Sherlock-inspired drink recipes and ingredients presented in hand drawn typographic labels. The kit comes with a hidden booklet listing each recipe, the history of each drink, and typographic quotes from the entire Sherlock Holmes lineage. Careful consideration was taken to preserve the overall character of the original works within a multifaceted design.
Branding, UI Design, Print
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Problem - Brand and create a 360 campaign for a Philadelphia based bike share.
Solution - Wheelie Good is a conceptual company that would offer bike rental service locations throughout Philadelphia, PA. The whimsical logo would be applied to t-shirts, painted murals, ads, and a companion app. The brand features bright colors paired with serif type to visually marry a modern service with the ambience and history of historic Philadelphia.
Problem - Design an ad series that appeals towards a young target audience and promotes social media buzz.
Solution - Warby Parker is unique in the fact that they are more affordable than the competition. For this ad series, my partner and I decided to use Geek Chic as our concept. We used simple backgrounds to keep the focus on our models and to reflect Warby Parkers’ clean design standard. Picking the right models and poses for each ad was a huge part in making these a successful campaign.
Problem - Design a line of products that maintains consistent branding and a strong shelf impact.
Solution - Inspired by the famous 1840’s pioneers who became trapped in the mountains of California and resorted to cannibalism for survival, Donner Party Delectables features a wide range of anatomically correct chocolate organs. The label design is inspired by the 1800’s, and uses a different shade of red to represent each flavor. Symbols representing The Donner party such as wheels are sprinkled throughout the design.
This piece is a promotional handout that I created for Grand Illusion Hard Cider. It was handed out at tasting events as a first introduction to the Grand Illusion brand. A flashback from the early 20th century, Grand Illusion is a hard cider bar opening in downtown Carlisle, PA. The bar’s concept-heavy atmosphere is being inspired by magicians of the early 1900s, and the Art Deco movement. A limited color palette and Tim Burton- inspired illustrations blends perfectly with the brand’s logo and typography.
Caroline and Peter Wedding Suite
A hand-lettered wedding suite for Caroline & Peter’s Peruvian destination wedding featuring whimsical watercolor illustrations.
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Problem - Re-brand a Harlem based nonprofit farm share, as well as offer marketing and promotional material. With a limited budget, ideally this would lead to increased awareness and sales.
Solution - These logos are redesigned brand standard for a small vendor and farm share based in Harlem, NYC, and represent the theme of farm-meets-country. Logos with an ‘A’ set in a circle, represent the A train which is the main line in Harlem, as well as a popular song about the neighborhood. The logos will be applied to HERBan’s branding, as well as tote bags that can be used to give out produce and act as free advertising.
Project Janus is a Raspberry Pi powered interactive mirror that uses a face API to determine the users mood and augment it onto their face. I lead a small team of developers that motified coding to fit the needs of the project and build the physical display. We chose a low poly style design and a bright color palette with one color assigned to each mood
